Toybox Childcare Centres

Toybox Childcare Centres offer a positive and happy environment in a 'home' setting. This provides each child with an opportunity to discover and learn physically, intellectually, socially and with confidence.

We operate two centres. Toybox on Rawhiti, and The Toybox Royal Oak.

Forest Kindergarten Workshop

Toybox on Rawhiti models it's practice on the Forest Kindergartens of Europe. It is also known as Waldkindergarten (in German), outdoor nursery, nature kindergarten, or nature preschool.

Hours and Session Times

The sessions operate between 8:00am and 1pm in the morning and 1:15 to 5:30pm in the afternoon. A full day is between 8:00am and 5:30pm. Please ensure you drop your children off and collect them within these hours.

Daybag and Clothing Requests

Please provide a school bag and A5 size spiral bound notebook. Within the school bag we request a change of clothes, including a hat, walking shoes and a jacket in winter. Also please provide extra pants or nappies.

We appreciate named shoes, hats and clothing.
