Gardening
From garden to table, growing fruit and vegetables for our meal times. Sustainability systems are promoted including composting and recycling.
Exercise, dance and movement
Physical movement helps the C’s: concentration, co-ordination, confidence and cognitive development.
Art
We have an area devoted to art creation offering choices for independent play with materials such as crayons, paints, paper, play-dough, scissors, collage and glue.
Mealtimes
We provide a healthy lunch, morning & afternoon tea. We encourage our children to feed themselves & take responsibility for their choices. Healthy eating is supported by our curriculum programme.
Cornwall park walks
Giving opportunities for child initiated learning, child lead and play based experiences. You will see us in the park three days a week, always dressed for the weather.
Forest Kindergarten
Forest kindergarten is described as a classroom without walls and uses the environment as a teacher.
Creativity
Our children discover being creative in their play through using the outdoors, tools and their imagination.
